Station Inn

Venues

The Station Inn is a legendary live music listening room in Nashville, Tennessee and is considered one of the premier venues for bluegrass, roots, and Americana music. The original club house, located near Vanderbilt University, was founded in 1974 by bluegrass musicians Ingrid and Bob Fowler, Marty and Charmaine Lanham, Birdie and Red Smith, and Wilma and Jim Bornstein. The venue relocated to the Gulch in 1978 and was bought and expanded in 1981 by the late Bluegrass Hall of Fame inductee J.T. Gray, who turned it into an international touring destination.
