Ranch Romance
Bands / Ensembles
Ranch Romance was a Seattle-based band active from 1989 to 1999, blending western swing, alternative country, and bluegrass. Founded by Jo Miller (vocals/guitar), Nancy Katz (bass), Barbara Lamb (fiddle), and Lisa Theo (mandolin), the group later included Nova Karina Devonie (accordion) and David Keenan (guitar/banjo/mandolin). Taking their name from a 1930s pulp magazine, they toured with k.d. lang and gained a following for their eclectic style and lively performances.
