Michelle Porter

Michelle Porter is a mandolinist and guitarist from the Knoxville, Tennessee, area who as a child studied mandolin with Ed Wing at Pick 'n' Grin and played in the bands Chosen and Daybreak in Dixie. She later earned a microbiology degree at the University of Tennessee, where she also studied studio guitar, and founded the canned-cocktail company Flying Panda.
