Nashville's Martha White flour company has sponsored programming on WSM since 1948, one of the longest continuous sponsorships in radio, including the Grand Ole Opry and the early-morning Martha White Coffee Time, launched in 1951, and its 1953 jingle, sung from the Opry stage by Flatt and Scruggs, became a bluegrass standard still performed today as a signature number of Rhonda Vincent and the Rage.
