KWFT was the oldest radio station in Wichita Falls, Texas, signing on at 620 AM in 1939 as a CBS affiliate whose Western Barn Dance showcased local and regional country musicians in the style of the Grand Ole Opry, before the station was sold and signed off in the mid-1990s and its frequency moved to the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
