K-Ark Records

Labels / Record Companies

K-Ark Records was a country label owned by John Capps. It operated first in St. Louis and later in Nashville, issuing regular releases alongside a large catalog of custom records made for artists who paid for their own sessions. In 1973 it released Born to Be Free by Betty Fisher, a Florida bluegrass bandleader.
