Hull & Larson, formed in late 1995, was an acoustic duo from Minneapolis made up of guitarist “Dakota” Dave Hull (originally Fargo, North Dakota) and multi-instrumentalist Kari Larson (originally San Francisco Bay Area). The pair often played twin guitars, with Hull also switching to ukulele and Larson to mandolin. Their repertoire drew on folk, pop, jazz, world and classical music. The duo performed together for more than six years releasing three albums on Hull's Arabica label.
