For the First Time (1988) is an album by the Blueridge Connection, a bluegrass band from Texas that featured Janet Davis on banjo. The band was together from 1979 to 1989 and played regularly at the Hill Country Opry. The album features Mary Ann Cornelius on bass and was mastered by Benny Quinn. Davis's publishing company later reissued it as a download, with tablature for the tunes.
