Barbara Mulford

Barbara Mulford (c. 1941 – July 5, 2014) was an American banjo player born in the Bronx, New York, who took up the banjo at 35. She married guitarist Claude Mulford in 1991, and the couple lived for many years in Orange City, Florida, traveling and playing music together until his death in 2008. Outside music she worked as a newspaper columnist, editor, and financial planner.
