All-Girl Boys
Bands / Ensembles
The All-Girl Boys (1989–1997) were an all-woman bluegrass band from northern California. The original lineup was Mary Gibbons (rhythm guitar), Chris Lewis (mandolin), Carolyn Cirimele (bass and accordion), Debby Cotter Kaspari (banjo) and Kathy Barwick (Dobro and lead guitar), and all five sang. Bethany Raine (bass) and Sonia Shell (banjo) were among the band's later members. Career changes and moves across the country broke up the group in 1997.
